i'm just curious!

we're drunk and sitting on the balcony at erin's hotel room. nathan is singing to against me! and we are having fun with gabe eli chad and erin. this weekend we went to comic con and it was so weird, and i almost met nick frost but then he just made a face at me. i guess that's ok, though. I got a badge that says "amazing policeman officer" and i took this picture of a star wars guy oh and here is nathan and simon pegg:
yeah that was fun. and this is fun. today nathan and chad and i hung out and watched blade and acted manly, but then on commercials we switched to the devil wears prada and acted girly. it was great!
we're going to the desert tomorrow night and having a party at tynan's house and then we're going to watch the simpsons movie. life is pretty good when you know good people like these.
p.s. don't tell nathan and eli, but i don't really like against me!

Home Again

Portland is so great! Roxanne and I spent every day just walking around and checking things out, and eating the best cupcakes ever:
oh man, those were really good.

We left Portland and went to see Roxanne's granny. She collects and sells things she gets from thrift stores and garage sales, and she let us go through her jewlery collection and take whatever we wanted. Best granny ever.
Roxanne's aunt lived nearby, so we went to her house and jumped on a trampoline for about six hours.
Her uncle has this incredible garden and I kind of wanted to ask if I could move in and be their maid in exchange for free veggies. But then I realized that I would be a terrible maid, so I just asked for the free veggies.

We left Monday afternoon and got home on Tuesday. I never want to get back into a car for the rest of my life.

Portland

Roxanne and I drove up to Portland this week to visit Natasha. I tried taking pictures of the changing scenery on the way up here, but it turns out there is no changing scenery. When Southern California ends, there's just this vast emptiness along the 5, all the way up to Portland. Who knew?We got to Tasha's house on Monday, and it's been a perpetual slumber party ever since.
We spent the fourth of July watching degrassi, then took Zena out for a walk, hoping we'd see some fireworks. We didn't.
Roxanne and I eat breakfast every morning at the same bagel place, hoping they'll start to recognize us, and then be confused next week when we disappear. The only problem is that we have yet to see the same person working there twice.
It's pizza time. I'll show you more pictures when I get home.
